Upcoming Aperitivo events June 19 | 19.45 Happy hour 20.45 Seven Samurai 

The Aperitivo votes have been counted, and the winner, to absolutely no one’s surprise but everyone’s delight, is Seven Samurai! On June 19, we’re doing movie night right with a special screening of Akira Kurosawa’s legendary 1954 epic – yes, the film that essentially invented the action movie as we know it.

And before the swords start swinging on screen, we’re kicking things off with a proper samurai-style pregame in the form of our traditional happy hour. Think discounted drinks, good vibes, and, of course, the chance to flex your movie muscles for the chance to win prizes. Then settle in for the main event: three-and-a-half glorious hours of honor, grit, and some of the most influential filmmaking in cinema history.

Whether you’ve seen Seven Samurai ten times or have been meaning to forever, this is the big-screen experience it deserves—and the happy hour your week needs. Get your tickets now – we start at 19.45!

Every 3rd Thursday of the month (and sometimes the 2nd…), we celebrate cinema by getting together and raising our glasses to the films we love and the friends we’ve made along the way, with Aperitivo!

For each edition, we will either publish a poll to give you a choice of three films, or select an unmissable one-off, in the form of a beloved classic or special preview. The hour up to the film is Happy Hour at Cinecenter: discounted drinks, a chance to hang out with old friends and meet new ones and play along with our film quiz and other fun and games.
