Queer Summer Film Program

This summer, we are teaming up with the Queer Summer Film Program, which runs from July 9 to 20 and aims to celebrate and explore perspectives of queer love, sexuality and gender diversity. Organized together with various film festivals and queer organizations, the program consists of a balanced program of queer films: unforgettable classics as well as new gems.
  • On July 11th we will screen the classic Beautiful Thing (1996), together with Roze Filmdagen
  • On July 13th Roze Filmdagen presents one of their audience favorites What a Feeling, with an introduction by journalist and podcastmaker Annefleur Schipper, who presents the popular show De Lesbische Liga.
  • On July 17th we will screen Una Mujer Fantástica (2017), with an introduction by Natsumi Hernandez, an activist who is part of Papaya Kuir, a collective that stands up for the rights of queer and trans migrants and refugees in The Netherlands.
